Alexander's Angels Inc. will have a fundraiser to benefit the research sponsored by the Down Syndrome Treatment Foundation. It will take place at a few local Friendly's Restaurants in Long Island. Tomorrow we are meeting with them. We have requested a date of March 21 to coincide with World Down Syndrome Day. If they cannot honor the date we requested we will choose the closest date we can get to 3/21. Please let us know if we will be allowed to use your logo next to the date of the event.

After three years of organizing a Buddy Walk in Long Island--where none ever took place--Alexander's Angels Inc. is in the process of becoming a 501 (c) 3. We have also organized the panel presentation The Up of Down: An Insight Into the World of Down Syndrome and DOWNrightART, an exhibit of the artwork of artists with Down syndrome. We are also redoing our website and hope to have it ready in time to announce our change of status.
