To celebrate World Down Syndrome Day, the ACT Down Syndrome Association is hosting two exciting events in Canberra!

2010 Dance 4 Down Syndrome Dance-a-thon!

Any type of school, be it a public or private school, special needs school, dance school or music school, day care centre - all can participate. Each school can register their details online by clicking here. The Dance-A-Thon will be held within a time period of a week in March 2010 leading up to World Down Syndrome Day on March 21st. The date and time is at the school's convenience.

Anthony Ikin from So You think You Can Dance is our patron as well as Gerard O'Dwyer, who has Down Syndrome. Gerard won Best Actor at Tropfest 2009, the film he starred in, "Be My Brother" won Best Film in the same year.
