World Down Syndrome Day 2011 – in South Korea

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

We read your website and would like to tell you about our event happening in South Korea that we purposefully planned on 21 March 2011!

We are pounding the pavement to share our message with everyone we meet... TISCHER’S TROOPS are “Marching Towards a Better Tomorrow” by putting

boots on the ground to RUCK-MARCH A FULL MARATHON at Camp Humphreys, South Korea on WORLD DOWN SYNDROME DAY, MARCH 21, 2011

to honor my son Matthew and other individuals around the world with Down syndrome. Yep, you read it right! We are ruck marching 26.2 miles to spread

the word about Down syndrome and to stop the continuous cycle of discrimination against people with disabilities. Our strength and inspiration to make

a difference comes from my 10 year old son, Matthew, who was born with Down syndrome in 2000. Matthew’s determination through amazing challenges,

from birth to today, motivates us to challenge ourselves as well.

Our vision is for Matthew and all individuals with Down syndrome to know an ALL INCLUSIVE Society. People can track our training progress and view

pictures of us on our website listed below.

EVERY MILE = POUNDING PAVEMENT = BREAKING THE CYCLE = An "ALLIN" Society!

We hope you will support our mission, the National Down Syndrome Society, the Buddy Walk® program, and most importantly, Matthew and other children

and adults with Down syndrome.

“Just give ‘em a chance!” ~Matthew Tischer
