21st March, 2008 will be the third time World Down Syndrome Day will have been held and celebrated. It was established in 2005 by ESDA & Down Syndrome International.

This will also be the second time for Children with Down Syndrome’s Families and Friends Association in Jelenia Góra to participate in the celebrations.

We would like you to join us on 30th March 2008 , at 4.00 p.m at the Jelenia Góra Cultural Centre (JCK) in Bankowa street 28/30.

3rd WDSD’s celebration programme in Jelenia Góra:

4 p.m. - concerts and auctions at the JCK showroom

You will see:

- Magda Lazar and her band in concert

-“IMPRESJA” theatre group from Zespól Szkól Specjalnych i Placówek Opiekunczych in Jelenia Góra in their performance

- auction towards the Association

- Anna Kosa and Marcin Sweklej in concert

- “Czerwony Tulipan” in concert

The artistic part will be preceded by information about the World Down Syndrome Day in the world, as well as about the Association’s work, goals and mission. Some materials on Down Syndrome and the Association work will be distributed during the concerts and auction.
