Soup Project for the World Down Syndrome Day 2009
On Saturday, March 21st, 2009, in the French and German
regions of Switzerland, we plan to distribute 21,000 Quick-Soups
(from the company Lucul). People with Trisomy 21 will create
the soups, name them, and fill them in specially created
packages.
People with Down syndrome (both adults and children) will
distribute the Quick Soups and hopefully start discussions
with passersby to raise awareness about World Down Syndrome
Day and share their experiences.
One of the goals of this campaign is that developmentally
challenged people will be able to give to society, and to
change perceptions that they are always on the receiving
end.

Poster campaign 2009
Again for this year we like to bring to Switzerland the
great idea of a low-cost poster campaign originally from
the Netherlands. This would be an annual campaign, and the
subject and colors will change for each World Down Syndrome
Day. For 2009, the motto is: “Lust auf Leben!”
