We hope that this event will help to raise awareness of what Down syndrome is, what it means to have Down syndrome and how people with Down syndrome play a vital role in our lives and community. The event also promoted the talents of people who have Down syndrome from other training centers by giving away key chains made by these special children and invited people who have Down syndrome to assist in manning the redemption counter.

Mdm Katrina Salleh’s third child who has Down syndrome said that the general perception of Down syndrome has to change. Down syndrome is not a disease, it’s a condition caused by genetic disorder.  They are human beings just like everyone else and they have feelings so we should treat them with equal respect and more love.
