The Willems family from New Zealand

Kia ora.

My name is Luka Willems and I live in New Zealand.

I love my family and we go on adventures together. We have been discovering new places in Aotearoa since NZ closed the borders. I would like to share our trip to Stuart Island with you. It is the smallest of New Zealand’s 3 islands in the Deep South. It feels like you are all alone in the world. There are Kiwi, Albatross, kereru (pigeons), seals, penguins and many flightless birds because Stuart Island is predator free. I wish you could hear the birds sing.

It is very beautiful on Stuart Island. Just look at the native ferns and plants. The scenery makes me smile and go WOW.

My sister Kirah came on our holiday too. She lives in Dunedin where she is studying. I love her spending time with us. She makes me happy. She is my sister but also my friend.
