Anita from India

Anita, is 29 years old. She is an ambitious model, dancer and artist. She had walked the ramps in Dubai, Pune & Mumbai. She was the first model with Down Syndrome to be featured in a Dubai based Magazine named ‘Friday Magazine’. Her ambition is to become a mainstream model in India. Anita wants to change society’s view of differently-abled people and become a known face through modelling. She had modelled for a dress line in Pune named Hasthkari and another for Samasta from Chennai.

Anita has been creating and selling exclusive handmade products for Diwali over the last few years when in Pune. She has also been selling them at various exhibitions in the city and has a regular clientele who loves her unique products. Warli canvas paintings, spatula key chain holders, pebble art, diyas, stone and canvas paintings and warli painting fridge magnets tops her list. Anita has been working on these products for the past couple of years. She also loves photography and cooking.
